WAPDA Induction
Course (WIC)

For BPS 17
Duration: 17 weeks
The Induction Course provides newly recruited BPS-17 officers with essential orientation on WAPDA’s mandate, organizational structure, and operational systems. It develops core competencies in leadership, communication, organizational culture, governance, project management, and IT literacy, enabling officers to begin their careers with confidence and clarity.

Junior Management
Course (JMC)

For BPS 17
Duration: 9 weeks
The Junior Management Course strengthens foundational leadership and administrative skills for officers in BPS-16 & BPS-17. The curriculum includes personality grooming, project management fundamentals, general awareness, organizational culture, IT foundations, and financial management preparing officers for effective supervisory roles within the power sector.

Middle Management
Course (MMC)

For BPS 18
Duration: 9 weeks
The Middle Management Course enhances analytical, administrative, and managerial capabilities for BPS-18 officers. The training covers procurement and contract management, advanced financial management, governance frameworks, organizational culture, and project planning, building strong mid-level leadership across WAPDA and its affiliated entities.

Senior Management
Course (SMC)

For BPS 19
Duration: 11 weeks
The Senior Management Course develops high-level strategic leadership and policy execution skills for BPS-19 officers. The curriculum focuses on organizational strategy, public-sector leadership, corporate governance, procurement oversight, and advanced project management empowering officers to lead complex operations and drive institutional performance.

Dr. Aneel Salman

OGDCL‑IPRI Chair

Dr. Aneel Salman holds the OGDCL‑IPRI Chair of Economic Security at the Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI). He is an expert in monetary resilience, macroeconomics, behavioural economics, transnational trade, strategy-driven policy, and climate change. In addition to his research, he serves as a master trainer, having trained bureaucrats, law-enforcement agencies, military personnel, diplomats, and other stakeholders on economic security matters. Academically, he has been affiliated with renowned institutions including Rensselaer University, Harvard, Cambridge, and the University of Bern. Over his career, he has contributed to government, private sector, defense services, and academia, and has authored the book “Economy: Backbone of National Security.

Dr. Nadeem Ahmed Khan

Assistant Professor, PIDE

Dr. Nadeem Ahmed Khan is an Assistant Professor and the Director of the Executive Development Center (EDC) at the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE).
He holds a Ph.D. in Human Resource Development and an M.Sc. in Statistics.

With over 30 years of experience, his background spans academia, corporate leadership (including roles at Allied Bank and Halliburton), and development consulting.

His expertise lies in HR analytics, ROI methodology, performance management, and governance.

Ms. Xaineb Fahad

Therapeutic Art Practitioner

Ms Xaineb Fahad is a Therapeutic Art Practitioner qualified from the Canadian International Institute of Art Therapy. She is also a visual artist with a Bachelors in Fine Arts from the National College of Arts where she majored in painting. Currently practicing both privately and at Soch clinic, Islamabad, she conducts Mindfulness Based Art Therapy (MBAT), Group and Community Arts activities, and Somatic Therapy.
